ADULT OPEN DIVISION

Adult Beginner Ballet: (Ages 26 +) 

No previous dance experience is required. This class is designed for those seeking to learn and train in the fundamentals of Classical Ballet. Classes Available: Classical Ballet Technique and Pilates. Class cards are available only to those participating in the Adult Ballet Classes and Adult Pilate Classes. Cards are offered in 5 and 10 class increments.

Adult Advanced Ballet: (Ages 26 +) 

Prior dance training required. Students who have mastered the techniques, principles, and styles will be placed in adult ballet classes. Advanced Ballet vocabulary is a necessity at this level. Classes Available: Classical Ballet Technique and Pilates. Class cards are available only to those participating in the Adult Ballet Classes and Adult Pilate Classes. Cards are offered in 5 and 10 class increments.

Adult Pilates: (Ages 26 +)

Pilates is a series of controlled movements and coordinated breathing that engage one's body and mind. It focuses on improving flexibility and strength for the overall body. This system ensures the construction of lean muscle. It's a great way to tone up (especially those abs), gain flexibility, and participate in a remarkable exercise regimen all in a fun, open environment. Class cards are available only to those participating in the Adult Ballet Classes and Adult Pilate Classes. Cards are offered in 5 and 10 class increments.

 

Senior Stretch and Conditioning

The class is opened to students of all ages but the primary focus is on the needs of seniors. 

Many health benefits can be gained in this program, such as moderate cardiovascular exercise that contributes to heart health, along with endurance, flexibility, mobility and balance.  The class also offers an opportunity to socialize with other seniors in the effort to prevent isolation and depression as well as to improve the quality of life.The goal for the Senior Program is to provide the community with bold and innovative programs that promote opportunities to live a healthy lifestyle and participate in moderate physical activity programs.
