Pre-pointe exercises/classes will strengthen the feet and ankles to prepare the students for pointe shoes, and more advanced technique. Barre work becomes more complex as we continue to add musicality, accuracy and strength into the combinations. Ballet vocabulary continues to be reinforced, along with the execution and advancing of proper technique. Stretching, Conditioning, and Strengthening of the dancer’s muscles will continue and students will incorporate more use of the upper body.
